"I love the way this dress looks, so much that I bought it in 3 colors. However it has far too much fabric and makes the dress very heavy both on the body and the hanger. Even using the hanger support straps the dress really drags down. One of ones that I own has had the neckline stitching/elastic pull out. I’m pretty disappointed in the longevity of this higher ticket item."
"I really like Universal Standard and have a lot of great items from elsewhere on the site. Unfortunately, I don’t think much of this liquid jersey fabric. It had a pretty sheen to it when new, but after just one wash that changed to a dull matte. It makes the dress look very casual and not refined or elevated in any way. I could use the fit liberty exchange, but presumably the same thing would happen when I washed the new one. The fit is okay, though I tried two of the same size and they fit differently, with one having much more extra fabric at the waist than the other, so some sizing inconsistency there as well. I will say the customer service was pretty good."
"Not sure why this is called liquid jersey, the neckline is special and flattering, but the rest of this dress is remarkably ordinary. The jersey is heavy and not slinky or liquid. I would not be at all surprised to see a dress at a cheap department store for $150 less than this. It would be very similar quality. It also cinches at the waist but not well enough, so it still just hangs down. I may still keep it, just because it would be so easy to throw on for work, but given the nature of the jersey, I think it wouldn't even be appropriate for most work environments. Certainly not on an important day. Also, I am often size 6-10 and I bought the 2xs, and could have gone down at least two sizes."
"This dress literally does everything you want a dress to do. It fits perfectly, cinches at the waist and flows everywhere else. The fabric is satisfyingly heavy, so exceptional for twirling."

"My knee-jerk when I saw this was oooooh. But I overthought for months. . "I don't really looove yellow" or, "I'm short so maybe this would look like a gown on me," or "it's expensive. " I stopped torturing myself when it went on sale and what a good decision! The material is luxe and drapes beautifully. The yellow is a cheerful addition to my standard closet colors of black or white or gray. The style is feminine and makes me feel beautiful. Whilst it is a bit long on my 5'2" frame, it is still very wearable with flats and if it continues to bother, the sale price allows the cost of having the hem taken up."
"Cute design, but for me the material is too heavy and the design is too unstructured and the dress just hung on me in a very unflattering and sloppy way. I very much want a dress like this for summer, and the length is perfect and hard to find as most are too short. If it was made with a lightweight fabric like gauze or muslin it would be perfect. I even sized down and it did not help."

"This dress is a quick way to look together with minimal effort. I got the navy first and hoping to get the rest. I am waiting for a sale or fairy godmother. I live for a minimal effort with a lot of style impact. I wear mine with statement earrings and doc martens. It runs big for me as I have an hourglass figure. I pulled in the elastic at the waist to make it fit better. I will purchase in 18/20 for next time."
