Mystery Box Terms & Conditions

Offer is valid from September 21, 2023 at 12:00 pm EST until October 1, 2023 at 11:59 pm PT, or while supplies last, whichever is sooner.  Allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of Mystery Box purchases.  Mystery Boxes are FINAL SALE and not eligible for return, size/color exchanges or Fit Liberty exchanges. No price adjustments on prior purchases. Cannot be combined with other discounts and promotions. Shipping and tax, if applicable, will be applied to all orders. Shipping costs and taxes to international addresses will vary based on location and customers are responsible for paying any applicable International Duties and Taxes. No refunds on any shipping costs. Customer requests for cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order can be made by reaching out to info@unviersalstandard.net to request a cancellation. Cancellations requested past 24 hours are not guaranteed. If a customer orders multiple Mystery Boxes across different order numbers, boxes may contain duplicate items. Universal Standard will not review previous customer purchase history and cannot guarantee that the customer’s Mystery Box will not contain a style they previously purchased from Universal Standard.  Universal Standard is unable to account for customer preferences in relation to the goods received.  Universal Standard does not guarantee any style(s) that may be listed per order confirmation email(s) correspond to any particular products and maintains the ability to adjust assigned style(s), as needed.

Products vary from Mystery Box to Mystery Box and the resulting discounts across boxes are as follows: 

  • New + Necessary + Nice Dresses Box is discounted between 42-50% off retail price, with an average discount of 47%
  • Autumn in Paris Box is discounted 40-45% off the retail price, with an average discount of 43%
  • Nights in Aspen Box is discounted 40-45% off the retail price, with an average discount of 43%
  • Major Style Box is discounted 45-52% off the retail price, with an average discount of 48%
  • Very US Box is discounted between 47-60% off the retail price, with the average discount of 54%
  • Denim Discovery Box is discounted between 52-58% off the retail price, with an average discount of 55%
  • Best Sellers Box is discounted between 55-58% off the retail price, with the average discount of 56%
  • Petites Box is discounted between 25-57% off the retail price, with the average discount of 47%
  • Surprise Me Box is discounted between 58-90% off the retail price, with an average discount of 70%
  • Transformative Tops Box is discounted between 41-55% off the retail price, with an average discount of 47%
  • emBODY Box is discounted between 40-70% off the retail price, with the average discount of 63%
  • 2017 Box: Big Hits Era is discounted between 40-60% off the retail price, with the average discount of 52%
  • 2018 Box: Signature Fabrics Era is discounted between 36-52% off the retail price, with the average discount of 45% 
  • 2019 Box: Luxe Favorites Era is discounted between 36-41% off the retail price, with the average discount of 40%
  • 2020 Box: Practical Heroes Era is discounted between 36-41% off the retail price, with the average discount of 40%
  • 2021 Box: Easy Everyday Era is discounted between 43-50% off the retail price, with the average discount of 47% 
  • 2022 Box: Soft + Stretchy Era is discounted between 46-50% off the retail price, with the average discount of 47% 
  • 2023 Box: Fashion Moments Era is discounted between 53-55% off the retail price, with the average discount of 54%

Sizes and colors for any item are subject to availability. No rainchecks. Terms are subject to change at any time and all discounts are subject to our Terms of Service. Universal Standard is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. Orders generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the submission process are void. Neither Universal Standard Inc., nor its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies nor any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives or agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) are responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, delayed, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled orders, email, mail, or other communications of any kind; or for errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the offer, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the offer, the processing of orders, the functionality of the website, or in any offer-related materials. Universal Standard Inc. reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time. Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this offer.
